Greetings, friends! I am so excited to announce a new monthly yoga practice in West Philadelphia:
The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit root yuj, which means “to yoke” or “to unite.” This can be used to mean the connection between mind and body, body and breath, the physical and the spiritual; it can also mean connecting to community.
I’ll begin each Sunday Yoga Social by leading a 75-minute yoga class that is appropriate for all levels. Following practice, we will enjoy a delicious homemade treat (think waffles with fresh fruit compote, cinnamon rolls, scones, crepes, and more!) and some much-needed quality time with friends old and new.
Sunday Yoga Social
DATE TBD
Space is extremely limited! More details including info about how to register are on the events page. I can’t wait to see you!
Stephanie's classes leave me feeling lighthearted and grounded. I always feel extremely well prepared for a peak pose. There's a wonderful mix of challenge, humor and room for anyone to work exactly where they are. She presents herself as extremely knowledgeable without making things inaccessible.

A wildly authentic teacher that knows how to access every individual in the room. Each student can feel challenged even if they are working within modifications.

Stephanie's classes are challenging but always thoughtful and supportive. I also truly enjoy her personal directions and cues, how she helps us adjust our positions without ever making us feel silly. Often after her classes I am amazed by what I / my body could accomplish. I feel strong, invigorated, capable and fulfilled.

Stephanie makes a point of discovering every student's strengths and weaknesses and in the most creative, supportive, charming, healthy, insightful, gentle, knowledgeable and reasonable way.
